I think its imperative that companies that choose to migrate to the cloud understand how to build cloud-first applications and have extensive hosted services experience in a B2B model. @Splunk they don't have top notch talent so they can't be something that they're not which is a success.

It's a shame that companies can spend years on the wrong path until money and time runs out. Who was in charge and can be held accountable? Or are they covering up for one another? Either way it's gone under and impossible to fix.
In a sales meetoff between Splunk and Chronicle's Backstory aka brother of Google with Alphabet as parent, Splunk will always loose.
They've already failed.
It's sad so many of them want to play dress up as adults but have so much knowledge gaps its embarrassing. Shut it down already it's so painful.
