Walmart workers are too poor to afford union dues and too scared to try it.

This guy is crazy.

Oh Please !! What is you Representative going to do for you ? Of the three branches of government 2 have forgotten about we the people. The ones you guys need to help you with the Union are off on a wild goose chase right now and the other half are trying to out do each other in the stupid department to get the nomination for President.

With that all said.

Walmart can and will close its stores when ever it wants to. Especially to stop a union. Walmart has big time labor lawyers and advisors and former union big wigs on the payroll. When a store gets in trouble an assessment is made and a decision is made to go forward and bust it up and restore order to the store which happens quite a bit. Or shut it down. Walmart has weighed all it’s options very carefully I can assure you, the decision to close has been methodical. Walmart owns these representatives you want to call for a hearing .. on both sides of the aisle .. it’s called WALPAC ever salaried manager donates to this fund ..

I worked for Walmart for many years; these days I work for a unionized factory. So I can speak to both sides of the labor pool.

While I'm glad to have my union representation, I didn't even get a choice about joining. The fees were auto deducted from my cheques. Went to only one meeting, where they sat around mostly talking about the things they couldn't do for various grievance filings. Didn't inspire much confidence. ---On the other hand, my benefits, starting wage and automatic yearly raises are wonderful. Wouldn't go company for anything.

Walmart will N E V E R allow organized labor. They've a rich track record of blocking multiple attempts, closing departments where one has snuck in, and whole stores that have won majority vote.

You can believe me when I say, this company would literally rather go out of business, write off the losses, and probably invest in some new off shore, second / third world country market venture, than allow WM to get collective bargaining. Ain't happenin', Cap'n.

I want some of what this guy is smoking.

He’s into more than CBD oil if he thinks that Walmart will ever allow a union.

Hello?! Outsourcing and temps plus slave wages prevents unions. If you don’t like that, maybe vote for someone who is actually for workers rights (and has voted for laws to make them happen).

Walmart won’t treat their workers better than legally required. Period. You can’t make them.

Anti-union tactics were at the core of these closures. The public demands truthful answers and swift action to these illegal labor practices. Call your congressional representative and demand immediate action, penalties, sanctions, and fines. Demand reparations for all associates who were threatened, coerced, and spied upon by management to squash their organizing efforts. This company must be made an example! Demand your elected representatives take swift and immediate action!!!!!!
