For those who are on their way out of Qualcomm - or those who have already left - what is the main reason? Pay? No job security? Benefits? Something else entirely?

I left last year because of the culture. If you didn’t begin your career at Qualcomm, you are always an outsider.
Manager was a jerk who just took advantage of those working under his management
Whats up with the new fruit office in SD? Are they hiring post the settlement?
Pay is lower and too many H1Bs and outsourcing.
Reduction in benefits, letting good people go, no growth opportunities are a few of the reasons to go. Yes the stock jumped to $86 but that only benefited the 10th floor. Last review cycle totally k--led morale for most. Other companies offer better compensation, benefits.
Pay is sh-- at Qualcomm and you don't even need to go to Google to realize that, even Intel pays way more at staff and above gardes.
Has to be HR, or Mollencough, asking.
The place is terrible for many employees. In my department you were either in the inner circle with directors and managers, or you were p--ped on at review time. It became toxit, simply became a toxic and hostile work place for many.
I was working 80 hour weeks thanklessly whole other people got ahead because they spoke the right dialect and we're in the right caste.
Took a true 40 hour a week job and I am healthier and happier.

It's not hard to understand, you want to retain employees? F---in pay em large sums of cash. It's easier to wade through the b---s--- when you can plug your ears and nose with dollar bills.
Left because of depressing atmosphere
