Walgreen doesn't care about there employees anymore thanks to boots alliance and keeps cutting hours which in turn cuts your pay. If you want to qualify for food stamps work for Walgreen. They don't even give there full timers 40 hours. You can't live on what they pay and would need a second job. They cut your hours contstantly so you never see an increase in pay. There is no long term career with Walgreens anymore since boots fiance took over. The CEO pissano only cares about self wealth like the sears John Lambert who the stock holders are during for theft. He ruined that company and stole billions for himself.

Too many lawsuits on there hands. Took a big lost on the market. Time jump ship! It was good well it lasted.
Retail is dead. The day of brick and mortar stores are slowly and have been dying away. People just don't have the time to shop any more. Amazon and other store delivery apps will put an end to Wag if the greedy corporate executives don't do it. I'm so glad I left the company in 2015, best decision I ever made. The writing is on the wall. When all a company cares about is shareholder perception then you have a root problem. The actual Walgreens family that ran things years ago cared about the people that kept the company going, All they care about now is pure numbers, employees are numbers and they are banking on getting rid of long time faithful employees and replace them with lesser paid naive "YES" people. Don't dare think for yourself. If you do, you will be marked and made an example and life will become very hard for you all the sudden. Life outside of Walgreens has been glorious. Life it too short. If you are on the fence about leaving I would get out now. Walgreens culture is sinking like the Titanic. Just a matter of time before they turn in to the next Sears, K-Mart, Circuit City.
