Have people learned nothing in the past several years about how Qualcomm functions? As if it is hard for leadership to find or invent a new reason to save even more money that will partly turn into their bonuses...
More jobs are moving to India and that's just a simple fact. The plan was laid sometime back to build a new campus in India, and to Geo shift current and future jobs to that new campus. Once open in India, jobs here will be eliminated. Not rocket science.
Oh most realize this is just one of many dragging boat anchors removed. It remains to be seen if the ship will shed more and will correct course.
Qualcomm is one of the highest paying companies in Silicon Valley. Do you think you'll find better elsewhere? Go ahead. It's not like there aren't other people who don't want your job.
