Morale is at an all-time low, people are afraid, not being to give their 100% work, constantly insecure, and yet the leadership is acting like nothing is happening, business as usual. Is it possible that they are so ignorant, or do they simply don’t care that the company culture which was once the backbone of the company, is gone?

@YGwWE38-1jst on a VP salary, yes you could retired after working 17 years... maybe you are one of the sobs who are laying off folks!
I would hope anyone who had 17 years at Juniper could comfortably retire and just pick up bits and pieces here and there to keep them intellectually satisfied.
@YGwWE38-ahu Tell what you said to the many coworkers I've worked with for the last 17 years who show up and gave it their all but still got laid off despite being good performers, exceeded quotas, brought in the customers, etc. The problem is that folks who show up, work hard and deliver are still getting laid off for cheaper labor in Bangalore. I've been at Juniper long enough to know that senior leadership is acting like there is no problem.
No, but you can foster your own culture and reputation. Don’t fall into the trap of checking out mentally...people will notice. Look at all the reputations getting destroyed up top.
Be a professional. Come to work every day, work hard, and get your stuff done. Keep the focus. Don’t worry about the idiocy above you. It’s a small world. If you don’t get meaningful stuff done I’m not going to recommend you when I’m in a position to do so.
They care about themselves and their compensation and keeping outside professional connections for the day they leave. They will lay-off and cut every person and be last man standing. cha-Ching
