Does anyone have any idea what will happen to expats IT in the next few months/years? Lots of rumors about complete saudization.

IT was slated for sometime in 2019 which means probably less that two years left.
I’m not debating the merits and demerits of it. Would simply like to know if the rumors have truth to them, and how long expats may have left.
As long as there are expats left to process payroll, it makes no difference to me. Why wouldn't we want full Saudiazation of IT? At least no one would answer the phone when you had a problem instead of the people we have to deal with now.
