@1ijx - Funny....There is no way QC is bringing the benefits back. When employees are ready to work for worse benefits why would management better them. Plus those benefits were slightly better than industry standard when they were put in place 25 years ago. QC was able to hang on to them a little longer than most but they no longer need to be that good. Benefits were removed not due to Apple lawsuit but long term profitability will never be what it was earlier. Winning the lawsuit has not changed that.

I wish layoffs would come back and hit me this time so I would be forced to move on and work at something productive

Sounds good. Any chance they reinstate our old benefits? You know a decent health care plan. Maybe chances for promotion, merit increases, bonuses? Or do we get the continued BS of forced bell curves where few get anything and continued cuts to health care? Not trying to be greedy just tired of doing the additional work of people let go.

Well, not that it means no more bad leadership down the road or market realities will change, but it is the removal of a massive boat anchor on the company.

@YGJ04Je-kqf: GD could have proposed specific ideas first how to cut costs, and his boss approved one.

Class of '19 here, never looking back at this company no matter how high the stock price goes. But I wish you all the best.

SM is root cause of all layoffs. I find it sad that anyone is so incapable of thought to not recognize it was GD who was under direction of SM.

As a class of 2018 volunteer, I have to agree. Now retired thanks to the past success of the Q, but I have a few friends left behind there. I think it's a new era for the Q and hope they can recapture some of the previous magic by investing in people.

So yes...it's kick a finance guy in the balls week!

Enjoy and may the management remember that this is an engineering company at its heart.

Best regards
