Thread regarding Renaissance Learning Inc. layoffs

Horrible company

Left a while ago. Company would make employees take surveys and then they'd cherry pick the best responses and publish them to Glassdoor themselves. They have a hard time retaining talent, too many new folks that don't know the business or product coming in and changing stuff. Tried to move entire tech stack of 20 years to AWS in 12 months. New York architect spouted all the AWS marketing materials. When it failed, they just made him a PM. Lousy place, with lousy pay. Only those that are mission critical who threaten the company get pay raises.
