I'm talking about major rounds - not the small cuts we are witnessing each day.

No great revelation there. Over the next 2-3 years fund admin is going to gutted like a fish.
Heard there were going to be layoffs in fund admin starting tomorrow and happening throughout the summer
20% of IT contractors are being cut across the company. Starts in May and runs through the rest of the year. What was that line from Cyrus' (head of GA) all employee meeting referencing cutting people - oh yeah, "winter is coming". So inspiring - leaves you feeling valued and positively filled with hope for the future.... We are all being set up to fail.
Yes, I agree that State Street has been doing this for years. I don't expect them to suddenly lay off large groups in an entire department. The only way this would happen if they lose some of their major clients. Which could definitely happen if they continue to outsource so many of the positions.
Post ID: @YE6j2mf Where have you been ?? State Street prefers to do small layoffs so the other workers do not know what is going on.
When I was there if a person did not show up in our dept, we would call our close friends in other departments to see if they lost anyone. Its called using the employee grapevine to see what is going on.
