Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

amount Apple paying per 5G device is in the range of $8 to $9 per device

and that is a 20% upside premium from $7.5 per device. Expect at least a 20% upside in stock price upwards movement. Math says $96 but lets just round up to $100. All established anaylsts now have strong buy rating with $100 target. Next 6 years as qualcomm emloyee going to be awesome!

I'm not so optimistic that the settlement with Mav is enough to budge our future stock price very much. Mav was a large customer, but the new settlement might have lowered our selling price, royalty and profit. And Mav is not required to purchase our modems.

Nice to have mmWave to radiate Q people again in lab.

@ogt. OP here, what makes you think I don’t work at qualcomm? Here’s proof, qualcomm awarded options last in 2009 set to expire in 2019. I won’t divulge the number I was awarded, but if stock gets to $100 were talking 7 figure gain before taxman. Like -wuk said, winning. You, my friend, are whining.

OP, no matter what they pay per device, it was included in the q published statement estimating addional $2 earnings per share, which brings stock exactly 30% up to ~80$

Comp team is just going to offer less RSUs to new hires now. You won't get rich with RSUs unless Q has an Nvidia-esque explosion.

You can get rich with RSUs - you just need a lot of them

Uh, if you worked there, you’d know that stock options are gone (unless you’re an executive). You simply can’t get rich with RSUs. But nice try.
