People at the office have been talking about possible layoffs sometime in May, but I thought Broadcom only does layoffs in March and October. At least that's what I was told (and read here in a few threads.)
Did i misunderstand? I'm still new here so I'm not sure what's true and what's not. Are those two months reserved for large rounds and there are small layoff throughout the year or is it something else?

Some tactical layoffs can happen in May. This March had hardly any cuts !!
we heard layoffs were planned for April but due to lot of loose talk among the employees, management decided to hold for a while. Its hard to say if May is the month or Jun.
