FYI, it looks like our status was updated with fidelity and I was able to start the rollover process for my funds.

4kcv—correction...my last day was 3/12. I called 3/26 and they approved my rollover request 3/27 (not 4/27) and they immediately sent me a check which I then sent to an IRA I have that is from previous jobs I’ve had......
4kcv—my last day was 3/12. I called 3/26 and they approved my rollover request 4/27 and they immediately sent me a check which I then sent to an IRA I have that is from previous jobs I’ve had. The rep I spoke to was very helpful. I wouldn’t worry about it too much though. The DCEH criminals have no access to your 401k. This stuff is so regulated and protected, it would be virtually impossible for them to raid it. I actually like Fidelity. I just took it out of them for my desire to ditch anything tied to my scumbag former employer!
4kcv -- it will still show in the Fidelity website - call Fidelity and ask - I had to run through rings to get the person in hr to submit my termination notice to Fidelity but finally went through.
So, your status was not changed? Did you call? You have a few options, roll it over or cash out but you will have to pay taxes and a penalty. I would call to be advised. They are helpful.
Fidelity is still showing dcedh as my employer. What was your last date of employment? Mine was 3/22,not sure how long the update takes or what I'm supposed to do with that money if I don't yet have a new 401k to roll it to...
I did that about two weeks ago. Very easy and quick and makes you feel one more step removed from the whole mess.
