Walmart needs a special managers day once a month. Where they HAVE to work in the front of the store with the public for a full 12 hour shift. .. That's every single manager in the store.

Front end has more contact with customers than anyone in the store, taking the most risks and verbal abuse, yet are the lowest paid position. Now I hear the company wants to put us even closer to the risk by taking away our distance barrier and putting us side by side with the aggravated maskless customer attempting to check themselves out. Have the ones in charge ever even experienced the turmoil many people have attempting to use self check?

So I’m gathering that there are only 2 areas that will not be effective by the new restructure. I have not seen or heard anything mentioned about the OTC Dept manager’s position. Some of the associates have mentioned there would be 3 departments not touched and those being E-commerce, TLE and OTC pharmacy? Hs anyone heard anything about this? Thank you in advance

I dont think it right we were just told we dont get one of these postion we have take a severance pay and leave the company. We can not step down that not right i feel that we should be able to a cut in pay and stay in the company and work are way back to one of those postion.

How many coaches per store? My store has a fresh and front end coach. Food and Consumables as well when it all converts in Jan/Feb 2020?

With the changes coming, are performance outranked associates over tenured associates? I haven’t been with the company long, but I personally think I outrank many ASM’s. Should I leave?

I work for NHM. We went daystock over 2 years ago and asm jobs were cut. We have a test store in our market with 1 SM and 1 BL etc... Corporate flies in often to see how it's working. We lose the PC/Support this month and the new position has been posted for 2 months now and the "new pc" will have 3 stores to cover and staff. We also had SM's come to the stores and do the "HPC" speech and was told "if they don't make the asm changes before the end of July it will certainly happen January 2020." I have been following these changes since I first stumbled upon it in 2017. More and more I am being left alone as the only manager and this doesn't happen to others. Test? Perhaps. Does the market already have their choices for who is the BL and who steps down? Most certainly. I went through the last "changes[demotions]" and made it. I just go in and do what I do and make people laugh and enjoy their time at work. It gets people more motivated and makes the day go better. So if you are worried over these changes, perhaps you need to take a look at yourself and what you do to make the business run and stop worrying over what none of us can change as it is already predestined. I read about the changes and inquire because I like to know things and prepare for the unknown. I make no secret of these "changes" and tell my team everyday "one day I may not be here so learn from me what you can and show me you take me serious and care about your area."

Also, they will be eliminating support managers AND about half the assistant manager positions will be cut. Department manager positions will be combined with other areas so a few Dm's will be demoted or have to take on multiple departments. Save money live better right

"I read this post yesterday. When I went into work I asked my store manager about this today and he said it's not true. "

It's coming to $40-60M stores first and your SM has to be aware of this and is just b---s---ting you. They're told to deny everything until they have some BS talking points in hand and then spring it on you.

It's legit, these changes are coming. Some stores closing at night for cost savings, this restructure is additional cost savings. I saw a reply about fresh, that programs been around already if you're just getting on it it'll be fun but this isn't that. This is the work day program, and a springboard to most or all stores going to daystocking.

How can a Salary ACCM report to a GM BL and will Auto lose DM to GM

by

Post ID: @8vqm+YCT0ouQ

So it says GM is stocked by day shift starting at 6a.m, yet says pallets can be stocked after 9p.m and off the floor by 6a.m? That doesn't add up,if GM,is stocked in the daytime then what's the 10-6?

What is availability? I am a fresh associates. I do feel that we have too many DMS for the area. Just what do they do. The fresh dept is know capping the deli production side, and they have a DM. One of the DM says that the deli associates have a lot of work to do. The fresh cap dept associates we have a lot of work to do also. No respect for the fresh associates.

To bad i'm sure cap 1 will be stuck with FDD since overnights can't even finish all of GM and Grocery daily.

Just had meeting with my management team and store. Salaried don't have to reapply. Fresh dms/supervisors will in a closed pool. Only doing it in Fresh for now because, surprise, doing teams in total stores was a disaster. Hearing there will be 2 leads, production and availability. The other 2 fresh dms will gave to find a home within 60 days.

I read this post yesterday. When I went into work I asked my store manager about this today and he said it's not true. So i would really like to know where you received your information. I was told fresh already went through our restructure I was part of that and fresh would not be changing .

Will O/N GM Stockers have to go to 1st shift?

So is this where every associate in any kind of supervisory position (hourly and salaried) will have to re-apply for their current position? That's what I am hearing in my facility.

Funny how this says claims/dsd unchanged but a few posts down from this one talks about claims either changing or being eliminated and dsd is being either drastically reduced or eliminated.
