She is only around like so many who should be fired , because she’s a woman. No leadership, we have all been solid A bag of lies. Women do not have leadership period but it was the new buzz word and the new thing to do. Watson, Patton , Hershey , Trump , all men and all great leaders. Stop drinking the cool aide people.?
7 years and 28 quarters and counting. What possible insight does she bring to the table that the board considers her worth the investment. (sales experience, customer relationships, cloud experience, etc etc). I honestly can’t think of one. The world passed her by years ago, and the board knows it. She and the entire management team should be shown the door. No parting gifts need be given besides the one months severance. What’s good for the goose is good for the management team. There has been more than enough damage done. Ginni’s management will haunt IBM for decades to come. Abandoning customers, illegally dumping head count, throwing good money after bad (yes softlayer we are looking at you), playing financial games vs investing in technology, off shoring without understanding the consequences. PLEASE someone, tell me why Ginni still walks the halls of Armonk. 7 years of mistakes. Enough is enough
