My dad works there, and he's been a nervous wreck lately whenever I call, but he refuses to admit anything is wrong. I know there were some layoffs and talk of bankruptcy, but for some reason I thought things have settled down this week.
Am I wrong? Is the worse yet to come and he's just not telling me?
I'd just like to be prepared in case they need help.

Don't worry about your dad. He like the rest of us will be OK no matter what happens. And if the worse does happen your father will be able to find another job. Just be supportive of him throughout this process and remember that this is just a job, it's not life and it's not one of the important things in life like family and friends. Your dad will be OK and you will be OK as long as you are there for one another and remember that this is just a job. Also, for you, never let a job or money be too important to you.
Agree, some people at this place have completely lost their minds, decency, composure, and professionalism since the Chapter 11 announcement was made, they just cannot handle it, and I'm not just talking about comments left on this site
