Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

What’s the leadership next move?

Any word about that? Are some other parts of the company set to go for sale? Any splits, spinoffs, reorganizations? Does anyone have any idea what they are going to do next? It’s hard to think there will be more shifts sooner rather than later.

Seriously? You're asking this? How many times has Culp's plans been discussed? Half a billion times?

I'm sorry you're bored but it's the same now as it was a week ago.

Maybe hire a few more financial bean counters to lead complex manufacturing.

Expect any measure that saves money. Layoffs are the main action in the table but they will do anything that saves money. The reason is GE has close to $8 billion of bonds due in 2019 and a whopping $25 billion in 2020 and 2021.
