Been told since there has been a small but constant reduction of work force over last 6 months, there will not be another large wholesale cut of workers. Any others been told that or heard?

C-Suite is definitely a waste of space. Nothing but methane producers for the office. Maybe Cortez can regulate them out of the market with cows and lawnmowers.
Interestingly enough, I’d like to know what Lisa K did to get 6828 shares a couple months ago when the company is doing so c-appy.
Leadership has been failing miserably, in fact they have practically outsourced leadership as many of the top leaders SVP and C suite are now consultant hires, whose consultations was horrendous so they thought that having them be Allscripts might work better. In reality it is management trying to line their pockets with as much money as possible before they bail. Check out the leadership pay packages.
Sales is the clown, as they will give away the farm to sale a cow. Services and support has deteriorated cause many of the SME have left, or are sick of working after hours and weekends with no extra compensation. The regular worker have not gotten a bonus even if they hit all their metrics for like 4+ years now. Only sales and upper management gets their bonus.
However, at the end of the day its the market which has continually moved toward single solution software, versus the combined piecemeal solution that was used to build Allscripts solution. When they have clients that merge, and on the same platform but have a hard time with interoperability and getting them on the same system the clients do not see the synergistic effect that they had hoped for, so they shop elsewhere.
There are still some very talented folks but at the end o the day the marketplace is Cerner in public sector, and Epic in private. Allscripts gets the leftover, which are few and far in between. However, all others have practically given up. Check athenahealth who are no longer even taking any RFP anymore.
I hear that the C suite is also offering discounts on bridges for sale with their RIF packages. First come, first served.

Love the last reply. Summarizes the situation pretty well. Along with a shrinking market in the US, the only place to go is overseas. Maybe we can look forward to a great deployment of Sunrise in Syria or North Korea soon. I’d love to see Services sign up for that one. Epic seems to be beating them on margins on most customers with any money to spend.
So where is is bottom for Allscripts? They just hit 2012 stock price numbers yesterday. Time for new management to win back trust of the employees, customers, and shareholders.
what is there to buy really? The client base is leaving, moving to competitors willingly or via mergers and acquisitions. Complements of the entire Allscripts leadership team. Why pay for what you can get for free? Not all the client are prizes. These will be the ones who will stay behind. Not worth the money. The employee base is not needed, the leadership well everyone knows what jokes they are. RD is the cancer, Leadership is the catalyst growing the cancer, support is the ever weakening immune system incapable of staving off the cancer. Services, well they are the clowns and mimes who visit the sick offering NO value what so ever
What office? From the way the stock is going DOWN things can't be good. When is someone going to buy out the company and bring it back to good ol' A4 days? Used to be such a great company.
What is happening?
We’ve been told we are “safe” but highly doubt that with things that are happening in the local office we work at.
congratulations.. welcome to the emerald city.
It’s easier to do death by a thousand little cuts that it is to do a major staff slash at Allscripts. When you do small cuts, it is less notable to State labor regulators. Things like the WARN Act come into play. Either way it’s better to find someplace else that is more ethical to work.
Just quit from Allscripts today. Such a relief.
