I have just been told that there are no pay rises this year across the whole of SS&C. Is this true? How often often does SS&C do this or is this the first time.

Not true, is based on your review. Which is why being "adequate" or "meets" is not good if you met of exceed your goals.
If you didn't get a raise, you're on the list to get laid off. And/or, they don't value you as an employee. S---s, but it's true.
I just got a 2.4% raise. Last year it was 5% year before hat 4% 2.4% was the lowest raise in my 30 years in a call center customer service industry. My annual review was exceeds which is very good. How can I be motivated to do all with a raise so low?
I recently left DST, same job now that I had at DST, I make$13000.00 more now. I got my raise. Start looking people.

If you read what I wrote
So many specialist and managers are overpaid and do Sweet FA... let SS&C play their games , the good people will leave and the lazy overpaid will stay
Since when did the words "so Many" turn into "all"..
If you are ones that are lazy and overpaid ... I am jealous and would like to sign up
let SS&C play their games , the good people will leave and the lazy overpaid will stay
Can confirm, I'm lazy, overpaid, and I'm staying!
People on here are a joke. Think you have all the answers... each city is different. Each role is different. Companies are changing how they are hiring. The number of applicants are out numbering the roles available. Blah blah blah blah blah.......Companies are being cheaper on even on "sr roles". Just look at cerner for one.... their "sr roles" dont even pay 95k max if that. To say people are staying because they are lazy for shame. We work hard. Most do.....there maybe one or two slackers in every group. There always is. But to say all are lazy for shame.
Would have to take a massive pay cut if i wanted to take the roles available in our area. We can not move due to family. So it is what it is. Make the most if it. May turn out to be good in the long run. If you dont like it then better your self, or move on to the "grass is greener" scenario....and hope you find something for your role with pay close to what you are making.
Agreed you are not entitled to a pay rise.
You should be grateful you have a job, and if you don't like it do something about it, I bet half the people moaning still got bonuses which was probably between 1%-3%.

It's not the company's responsibility to make sure your pay stays with inflation. It's called merit, not cost of living adjustment.
I think someone hit the nail on the head. Those that remain in thier positions at DST / SS&C are desparate non motivated souls. Never hear anything about the great strides this company is making. In fact they have become the poster child for dysfuntion, lack of growth and innovation and at the top of the list mistrust within thier organization. Congrats Mr Stone, job Not well done!
Oh and to add to this...the biggest insult was how the CEO boasted about how SS&C were projecting a £4bn profit last year....and you can't even give everyone at least 3% to help cover the pension increase (which I know isn't their fault)....well F**K YOU!!!!
This news IS true!!! Although it's not affecting everyone. Admin grades are getting a 3% increase. Tech/Senior/Management grades are getting a big fat 0%. And I along with everyone else am absolutely disgusted! I have been with this organisation for 15 years (IFDS/DST/SS&C) and this has never happened in my time here. Now we are SS&C and this happens! Typical American fat cats running the company. What makes me laugh is when we found out about the takeover last year there was a video shared of the CEO talking about how he likes to spread the wealth, and giving some big motivational speech how we're going to make lots of money together!!! More like we're going to make you lots of money!!! Sickening...expect a lot of people to walk out now including me! Perhaps that was their intention.
Raises?
At DST or SS&C?
LOL.
I switched jobs a year and a half ago and while my raise was low at the new place (3%), I got a thousand dollar bonus for 2018 and a quarterly bonus for Q1 of 2019 due to merit.
If you aren't actively getting yourself out of DST at this point, I'm not sure what kind of shenanigans will motivate you.
Well?
Did everyone get their raise?
Well if making 182k is too low, I'm guilty.
I still got a 3% raise.
Hey “got a raise “, guess what? That means you were, and probably still are, underpaid.
Nope, I got a raise. Stop spreading bad information. If you're a valued employee, you got a raise.
Make of it what you want.
Is it possible could just be if you are at a certain pay rate if you wont get them? As in too high of a level maybe? We'll seeeeeee....
"Where is this information coming from? I find it suspect more have not heard this when last we heard the raises were still yet to be approved by the top."
My department of 20+ people were all told in a departmental meeting on Tuesday.
We are in the former DST UK, Basildon office and were all told as a group that there are no pay rises and it is not just us but across the whole of SS&C

The pay raises will be roughly on par, perhaps a bit smaller than DST historically.
DST has not matched inflation for many years. So saying it's smaller is effectively saying zero. For leaders there's been merit stuff in workday, but will likely be ignored as was the bonus stuff.
Sorry, but it is true.
Our whole team were just taken into the office and told there are no pay rises across the whole of SS&C(apart from those written into contracts).
Our UK office is in total uproar at the moment over it. DST pay rises were never great but at least we got them, under SS&C we are working harder, increasing margins and getting zero reward.
