Following the $280+ million bribery charge, they already let go of the few temps they just recently called back and have told us that our PTO will be frozen for the next 2 weeks.

It's possible that not wanting to pay for unproductive time is the reason. Or it could be that the payroll department is too incompetent to fix the PTO time accrual problem and do simple math at the same time. Either or both would not surprise me. But no matter what the truth is it still proves that good management practices are not one of the attributes we can look forward to at TechnipFMC.
PTO frozen for only two weeks ?? That makes absolutely no sense. Why would any company do that other than not wanting to pay non-productive time, to help prop up a monthly income statement. I'm pretty sure TechnipFMC is not that fragile...
