Total number of layoffs in San Francisco Bay Area itself is over 700
I highly doubt the 550 figure for the entire US
My learning from the past few days:
Maintain your resume
Network
Keep skills current
Always speak with future employers
Organize finances so that you be ok with severance
Hopefully less stressed if you are let go. Be ready as it can happen at any time.
