I’m not trolling, trying to stir the pot, or anything. I ask this question in light of the announced job postings in San Diego. Allegedly the postings were withdrawn, but I would still like some opinions on how many Q employees that fit those job descriptions wouldn’t mind moving to Apple?

I visited their UTC office recently. OP: Apparently, quite a few Q employees are willing to join Apple. The site was already pretty big. I can't wait to join myself. Goodbye Q #Whywait
Well why would someone stay at Q especially in a division which won’t last more than year ??
Qualcomm might not last a year so Apple is a good decision for greatest opportunity. Even if Qualcomm is around in a year, who know how many and who will be picked for laid off

I hate Q, but Apple supposedly also has a terrible culture. Tough call; depends on the money so probably Apple.
Apple's work culture is worst than qcom. Of course you could make bit more money from apple

I'd go work for Apple. Outstanding opportunities given Apple is THE market leader in everything they do. SM had stated many times that Apple is THE market leader.
Granted SM also lumped Qualcomm into that market leader category, however, that Qualcomm no longer exists. Today's Qualcomm is run by bean counters and a "branding" department. SAD. Apple never failed in adjacent markets, data centers, medical, smart cities, IOT, wireless power, etc etc etc, you get the idea.
Oh well, Qualcomm is still the modem leader and as long as Apple stays clear from designing and manufacturing modems Qualcomm will survive.
