If you are over 40 and/or 20 years or more with Ford you are expensive and expendable. Watch and see. There will be age discrimination litigation for decades after this. Mr. Hackett and Little Bill may win the battle but this is going to cost Ford a hell of a lot more than the $11 billion "Smart Redesign" estimate. Hey UAW fight back and hold their feet to the fire in the upcoming union contract talks. You guys are the last line. Don't trust any promises from Hackett or his minions. The powers at Ford have greatly underestimated the pushback from Ford Employees Union and Non-Union / Salaried and Hourly alike. To use a famous WWII quote, "All they have done is awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve." They forget that we talk, we have friends and families, and we "USED TO" buy and praise Ford products. Enjoy the small power trip Mr. Hackett.
