Thread regarding Dream Center Education Holdings, LLC (DCEH) layoffs

You will not be paid. Face it ands move on...

We've all worked hard in this truly c-appy school. We were held to HIGH levels as our students were held to low ones. Watching academic standards drop and drop, knowing FULL well the scam that this sh-- was, we swallowed more and more of the b---s---. We've made allowances in all areas that bothered us each time.

We made low to middling paychecks for running expensive courses for nearly illiterate folks, who have been saddled with horrific debt. WE are part of the problem, for some reason, because we instructors are losing all power in this space.

Let's just be happy that it lasted this long. Move on to a real school now, and try to forget EVERYTHING you were forced to do here.

Just my opinion after 9 years here.

You know "WatchtheBubblePop" when I initially started to read your post my first thought was "eureka" finally the heartfelt mea culpa I've been hoping for. I was elated to say the least. At last, I thought, an honest, unbridled and uncoded assessment and truly horrendous depiction of how so many people have been financially and dare I say spiritually injured over too many years. Your words became a soothing apotheosis, a kind of war and peace, of all the things that needed to be articulated to help us all move on and put the hatred, nastiness and ill will finally to rest. And then you had the cojones to say "lets just be happy that it lasted so long." You crazy man.

DCEH could’ve and morally should’ve closed the schools March 1 but AiO had a start on March 7 and they wanted that tuition cash from students for DCF, the receiver and as a tithe for the Assembly’s of G. It was a theft plain and simple preplanned and premeditated and harmed students and employees alike.

Being required to post a video to each student per week was the worst for me! That's when I knew they were grasping at straws in trying anything to help "retain" students. This has been a sinking ship for a long time.
