Will newly hired FCG be affected? Based on what you see in the past 10 20 30 yrs experience ?

Yes - because when cuts happen across a company, the first thing to go is training. And in this case a group of inexperienced college grads who won't get settled into their role for another 1-3 years are prime target during the next round of layoffs.
Honestly, it is hard to tell. I heard back on the day FCGs are on the safe side, but my recommendation don't take it for granted.
Just prepare for the worst case scenario
In the last round 10 years ago they laid off an entire FCG class on the last day of orientation. Ignore people saying not to worry.
Thanks FCGs are the lifeblood of the company. They won't be letting you go until you get 20+ years and are making too much money. But Hackfat will be pushing up daisies by then. So you have a chance.
Dude, don't worry I'm actively looking so maybe it'll save the spot. To be honest, not had a great time here in my 2 years (independent of layoff stuff).
Don't sweat it, even if you do get laid off, you can always re-apply. That's the sh-- GM is pulling and Father Ford will be forced to do the same. F--- Hackett
No one is safe. Plan for the worst and hope for the best.
Yes so they dont get sued for just letting the old timers go.
