It seems so far the firings are primarily older white men (and to a degree older white women)? Is this the consensus?

Not entirely true, but yes this seems targeted so far to high salary resources that are eligible or close to eligible for retirement.
There have been a few exceptions to that I know of personally. No LL6s or GSRs yet. And my understanding is that the GSRs are mostly safe.
Still, these people have families and plans and responsibilities. Many have children in college and are paying for their education. Losing a job is NEVER easy. Being sensitive to that is something that Fat Man seems incapable of. Like bending over to tie his shoes.
From what I've only seen its only LL3 and LL4 white men in their mid 50's with 30+ years
