If you google news about qualcomm the first 20 or so articles that come out in the search engine are either about the lawsuit against Apple or the FTC case. Is it possible that the leadership is turning all of their thoughts and resources towards winning in court that they have lost track of the company direction and the need to innovate?

Apple wants to harm Snapdragon so that they can split up China with Huwawei (their co-conspirator for the ftc) without taking on Oppo and the others directly.
Qcom has no choice but to fight.
