watched Mr. Wilson do the perp walk into the fed courthouse here in Boston yesterday.I try not to revel in another's misery but was nice to see a go around come around.
we should all care, if leadership are sleazeballs and we follow blindly what's that make us? I don't want to be a sleazeball minion.
an observation, if he is that sleazy & low in his private life should we expect much higher ethics & morality in his business dealings? no one really cares though.
it's too late to flee Staples. Jobs are dwindling, impending recession and the best layoff packages are gone. plus Staples now has a rep so anyone that stayed will be viewed with suspicion.
you're hosed.
Yeah .... that’s right .... who cares . What really matters is the constant ranting of the one person who writes the same stupid c-ap every week about “ get out now while you can .... “ run for the hills “ ...... “ every leader is a dope “ .....” next Monday a zillion people will be let go “ etc . The perfect response to all that nonsense ...... it’s already been said ..... WHO CARES REALLY ...........
Who cares really
When Mr Wilson returned to Staples , he was put in charge of European Operations . Mr RS ( former CEO and the person famous for saying “ the plan is working “ .....and oh by the way , it wasn’t working ) would always say what a great job Mr Wilson was doing . He basically slashed expenses to the bone and prepared the various European businesses to shut down or be sold off. I think lots of folks could do that . No talent needed.
Everyone on the Staples Leadership team would get all gooey when Mr Wilson talked about how he gave out “ gold coins “ to people who had done a good job. Like it was the most original idea on the planet .
Now he is featured in articles where it is said he has given lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of coins to someone for assistance with his kid’s college placement .
What I can’ t believe is that one of the schools was Harvard . C’mon , at least he could have picked a good school.
