MDR's stock price down nearly 70% over the past one year, but I'd wager that many of the honchos get a sweet bonus for a job well done. Even CBI management, as incompetent as they were, couldn't tank CBI's stock price that quickly. I guess that MDR does indeed do some things better than CBI did.

It will go something like, more losses, attempts to renegotiate bank covenants, stock price goes to $1...then start sending out resumes. We're more than halfway there now and I have faith that DD will be able to get us all the way!

Bankruptcy comes gradually, then suddenly.
Even I could have payed 4billions for a company worth of 1,5billions. Even I could have bought Focus Projects and not understand how Onshore EPC works. Even I could let the costs run out of control but save pennies from the pockets of employees. Even I could not find bidders willing to pay 1billion for tanks and fabrication. Even I could not pay invoices.
Does DD list these achievements on his evaluation? If I did these achievements would I be rewarded with more comp?

It is not rocket science, it is common sense. MDR should have hired smarter leaders. These so called business people are a joke. Always looking at cutting cost instead of doing what is right. Good luck with that.
