It looks like those who did not accept VERP will get it anyway (4 weeks as opposed to 2 for younger people laid off). I have signed the waiver but I have until 3/18 to retract it. I guess if I did, it wouldn’t affect my payout and I would still be able to sue later if there is a class action.

Are there health benefits with verp? Bridge to medicare? I missed by 2 years and got a c-appy package. I could apply internally but however c-appy the package is, they pay me to leave and I will pass that iq test.
Always negotiate and get legal advice. Treat it like a contract.
I would not rely on a class action for a few reasons (I experience this on my own skin):

it's a distraction, you will be invested even if you do not want to
Frankly I'd move on, I'd make a clean cut - give me my money and arrivederci
