Easy decision. Just look at the tech on the no side, and the one on the yes side. Who do you feel represents you personally? Who do you want representing you in the future?

We adent getting a contract for 160, the company has no incentive to agree to that. And if they did we'd have to give up a lot because they arent going to do us any favors.
A contract for 40 is less powerful than a contract for 160. I wouldn't wait if you have the chance now to consolidate the 2 shops in 1 contract......not smart to hold off that's why you've seen them everyday. The company knows this.
We arent going to be able to get better benefits than we have currently. All of the contracts simply say we get what the rest of the company gets, which can change at any time.
Theres zero incentive to sign right now, other than hating the company (which we all do). It doesnt benefit us to sign now when we can see the cwa in action over the next year and hear from the guys we know in hawthorne first hand.
Dont vote yes just to try and screw the company, and get into a useless contract. Keep the long term picture in mind, the union is hard to get rid of.
"stop the bleeding" ive heard this line a few times from reps
Its worth it to unionize just to keep what we have right now to stop the bleeding then negotiate for better. Every year our benefits and health care keep rising, no uniforms, supplies are scarce, plus we've lost soo much since 2016. Merit increases are dwindling. Wake up.
Why don’t we wait and see what Hawthorn gets? We won’t have a better chance than this to get what is truly best for us. I guarantee if CWA can show us a good contract for Hawthorn, we would pass the vote without a problem. But if they get them nothing, then we keep our %2 in our pocket. Why buy site unseen, when we can see the product in time?
Yeah the d family was the exception, they sold us to the death row company , only gave us a big raise back in 2012 only to buy them time now half the workforce it's gone.
Just follow the lead Hawthorne already set
Just a thought here to the last ppost. All companies are about the bottom line.
Its business, no company cares any more or less then the next one.
We had it pretty good with the Dolan family but that was the exception, not the rule.
Its a new world now
You guys have not seen what all the depots who have been in the rebuild have seen. Why do you think they’re all voting in the unions? Can you name any utility company who is not in a union, or blue collar workers. Once the rebuild comes your way you will regret it if you vote no. Just look up the history of the company if you want to see what they’re about... only the $$$.
Lets not and say we did
No not yet.
