Actually some US layoffs are starting this week as AICP is given out. For departments such as Quality where the reorganization has been finalized, those who are staying will get their role in the new org and their AICP payout amount in a meeting with their manager, and others will get a layoff discussion. Managers have been meeting and going through training. Stay tuned....

It seems like the timing if this is going to vary a lot depending on what part of the company you work in. Even if some areas might be going through it right now, I've seen no sign that my area is, but still received some indication that we will be affected. Seems like some of us may have to wait until possibly April, May, or even June to know for sure.
