I am thinking of rolling over my SAP 401(K) to a better diversified IRA.
I don't trust my existing SAP plan administrators.
Any recommendations of a good financial adviser for help in rolling over to a better IRA?

I would strongly urge you to look into Target Date funds, also called Lifecycle funds. These are mutual funds, with very low fees that associate to your predicted year of retirement. As time passes, they adjust the mix within the fund to be more conservative. If you are doing individual stocks and leveraged funds, then you are not investing--you are speculating.
It sounds like you are not interested in a managed account so that will avoid some fees. In that case, it is just a numbers game so pick the cheapest option. I was originally in Vanguard in a managed account but rolled over to a different institution with better management. I have never heard any of my coworkers who had Fidelity accounts say anything good about them. Check the Fidelity lay-off page on this website. Interesting reading. I will say don’t take fees at face value. You can negotiate.
My registered licensed financial advisor does a very job of picking mutual funds after rollover to an IRA. He doesn’t charge any advisor fees. Those interested and who reside in California can contact him.

I dont have experience with IRA accounts, my husband has an IRA account with Fidelity and he is very happy with it. The advice side is so so, he is not using them much for that
I will do it. The only reason is that the IRA gives me more investment options, I can do individual stocks and leveraged funds. I am in my early 30s and I invest very aggressively. Fees are lower too
