HR Talent Acquisition is actively recruiting mid-level leadership candidates from other companies as we speak. Two completely separate friends of mine have called me to discuss their talks with HR. In both cases HR is talking a much higher base salary than in house people in the same/equivalent positions. It’s not clear to me whether HR is lying to the external candidates or they really are that keen to recruit from outside the company.
