Two of our highest profile bets from 6 years ago are history, sold off for sc-ap instead of bringing them to market. 2Net was all about eHealth, and Halo has the only avenue that got the QC name publicly visible in Formula E. Good to know we're all-in on 5G and abandoning anything that could have helped with diversification.

QLife was c-ap. It didn't solve any real problems.
Halo was a nice thought, but the market for wireless chargers won't be meaningful for a long time.
Think a little harder people -- are you going to stuff money in your mattresses or grow it through good investments. QLife and Halo were worse than stuffing the money in your mattress.
So I guess the wise CFO will take the nice profits reaped from the sale of Halo and Life and invest into new, innovative technologies for long term benefits and growth ?
I hear that e-health and wireless EV charging are growth markets of the future :-)
Or will he give the 'value' back to shareholders and cupcakes to the employees ?

All said how many heads are we taking about ? may be 100 , big deal,no!
So selling Halo seems to mean sale of the IP/patents.
Interesting idea for a company that makes most of its revenue from licensing IP/patents !
With servers long since gone, automotive closing down, health sold, Halo sold I guess its time to double down on cellular and only cellular.
Good news for all
-
the QLife is now freed of the Q-chaos and pointless infighting and they can focus on their excellent fundamentals and grow this promising biz
-
SM gets some $$$ to given to himself, GD and a few pennies for shareholders. Good news ahead of March meeting
-
Q continues is retrenchment to 5GLeadership and selling licenses

A careful read of the Halo and Life press releases looks like the QLife guys got to keep their jobs, the Halo guys ... were not so lucky ("certain technology platform and IP assets")
Does anyone know who they sold the Life division to?
There was a yard sale sign outside WT this weekend...................hahahahahahahahahaha.
Time to make Qmovie.
hohohahahahahahaha....-> program this for infinite loop
QHasBeen
#WeInvent ? Hmmmmmmmmm, maybe not anymore.
Halo was one of Paul's. The guy had the balls to dream big and make bets. People whined because Mirasol failed. But nothing ventured, nothing gained. You want another $100B, you need a guy like PJ calling the shots.
Whats up for sale next ? Auto ? IoT/IoE ?
QRC is big big s--- of $$, needs some serious slapping into shape.
OP : terrible news - the diversification that is so badly needed is being reversed. With QLife now gone, its anyones guess which non-5G biz group will go next.
The CFO has blown $billions on the share buy back so now they need to off load biz units to generate ready cash.
Way to destroy a company. Sell it of in little bits to, in CFO speak, "realise the value" and "unlock the potential".
