Argosy online email from Former Chancellor

I received this email approximately one day prior to Cynthia Baum being laid off.

Dear Student,

As you are aware, Argosy University entered into federal receivership in which a legally appointed receiver acts as custodian of the university’s business operations. The ultimate goal of receivership is to protect Argosy’s ongoing operations and, most importantly, your student experience. In receivership, the receiver authorizes the release of funding, to include credit balances (commonly known as stipends) for students.

With my apologies, we are experiencing delays in the authorization and distribution of some stipend funds for students. While we do not have an exact date and time for the release of your funds, please know that you will receive them and that we are working diligently to correct the matter.

We understand how it important it is for you to receive your credit balance and are working very hard to make sure that we continue to provide you with the quality of education that you expect and deserve.

Yes Baum was let go even though she claimed she resigned because of lack of integrity

This post may be a non-sequitur but who cares. The word "Chancellor" has always struck me as a pompous device to perpetrate the long con by attempting to assign credibility to scumbags in the EDMC/DCEH family of soft shoe shufflers who would sit in their executive offices and do very little except monitor the open houses for the latest student headcount perpetration of fraud.

I can recall one very classy "Chancellor" at South University, no longer there of course, who would flip me the bird every morning he would see me, a lone aggrieved protestor, standing at the entrance of the fraud factory in WPB. I'll never forget his disingenuous final remarks when he emailed me with his very concerned and helpful expression of support tersely asking "And what exactly are your allegations?"

So FTF, Adjuncts and FTE and all the "it takes a village" of family supporters," what are your allegations" again?

Run for the hills now. Transfer!
