Instead of speculating and having meaningless get back to work that might be more useful. Result will follow Murphy's law. If it has to happen it will ;) you cannot change a thing.
btw when is the actual next lay off ? Will the packge be the same ?

Western nations are shifting away from Huawei for 5G and telecom in general. Qcom has done the most 5G development of any western company. There have been many articles saying how this lawsuit only helps Huawei, and you know Trump is not going to have any of that. The U.S. government (and everyone else) knows Apple is the most low tech FAANG, and does nothing for tech development beyond newer phones. As a result, the lawsuit will favor Qcom at the end. Worst possible scenario would be an outcome similar to what's happened in other countries (which people here constantly point out), where there's a fine but business model is kept largely intact.
