Thread regarding Dream Center Education Holdings, LLC (DCEH) layoffs

What is happening at the 8 campuses under EPF ?

Curious what is happening at the 7 campuses that were "sold" to EPF? I see on here cuts continue to happen, is that true?

Atlanta, Miami and Houston, and branch campuses in Virginia Beach, Tampa, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio...are they now closing too?

All “safe” campuses are part of the receivership and under the receiver’s control according to this filing

Does this question really need to be asked? And are some of you actually discussing growth at the 8 remaining AI campuses? That’s ridiculous!

The gig is up and the entire system, even those sold off, are going down. It may not happen today or even next month, but it’s just a matter of time.

Please, wake up! Find a new job or transfer to a real school before it’s too late!

Supposedly AiPOD is no longer attached to any of the campuses except AiP.

But if teachers want to get a paycheck they’ll keep teaching.

Will the current instructors at the art institute of Pittsburgh keep teaching until the end of this term,March 23? Or will they quit the school now?

EPF campuses are staying open, run by a board of trustees. They are hiring people to be a “mentor” - a combo of career services and academic advisor. Each campus will financially responsible for itself. No more push towards centralization.

I can only speak for Argosy Ground Campuses....it's a wrap. Baum and Ferguson were let go today, although Baum claimed she stepped down because of lack of academic integrity??!!! Really?! There hasn't been any since you started. All program chairs were let go with the exception of those who were already part-time. Campuses like ATL are running on a skeleton crew. Those campuses with leases in jeopardy were given the green light to allow the remaining employees to work from home. OPEN your eyes people...it's been happening and it's almost done.

The 8 Ai campuses are not laying off. In fact, lots of hiring on the way.

1cpw thank you and same to you - so many of us instructors feel so horrible about what is happening to students -- it's hurting everyone - such a shame - somehow some good has to come from all of this.

Thanks Atlanta. It was my understanding that all dept chairs were let go some time ago, maybe Atlanta was late on that. Deans doing scheduling with staff support. All the other comments are about schools that are slated to close in March or under the care of a receivership. Anyone know about other EPF campuses... Miami, Tampa, Austin, Dallas, VB....?

Hi- student at Argosy Atlanta here.. all of our part time faculty, most administrative , financial aid, and our dean were laid off today... also heard that the chancellor has been laid off as of this evening.. we don’t have enough faculty to teach the necessary courses.. we were told to prepare for the worst

Have they officially notified the students of the Pittsburgh art institute to let them know the doors are closing officially march31st? Hoping for a closure sooner than that so that all the students can move forward in a positive way and on with their lives. Please close sooner for all involved. Thank you!

I am a new transfer student from Nashville (which closed in December) to Atlanta campus. Our first trip to class for this semester is tomorrow and just found out that our Program Chair, that we never met (BTW) was laid off today! I think all of this speaks for itself.....no caption needed. These are Argosy University campuses. The sh-- just keeps rolling downhill...... my heartfelt apologies to those great instructors that have lost their income to support their families.

Not much is happening. I can say that my campus is losing instructors left and right. We just lost one of last photography instructors today.
