Compare qualcomm with NVDA. Revenue, profit, head count. Growth head. My 1st grader can call this out who is learning to speak maths,

NVDA - ~12k employees

QC - ~34K employees

QC is in the bubble w.r.t head count. Nothing wrong but makes no sense.

Sad to let peple go but that seems to be the reality. Poor management causing pain for a poor employee.

We have now and have long had higher than typical headcount vs revenue, due to the sweet QTL pure profit. When QTL income is reduced, which it will soon, there will be necessary adjustments in headcount. No one doubts near future financial changes, and you don't need to be a genius to know for every action there is a reaction.

When they had ~6 bil cash there were less than 10k employees. Now extrapolate and see the numbers accordingly.

Keep in mind as of today, the head count is more in other countries compared to when they had ~10k employees. Also, the growth was exponential then not anymore.

Ball park 30% ~40% range in the US. Not sure How much this will equate to.
