What about SAP Ariba?
SAP Australia there have been layoffs in Successfactors, Ariba, Strategic Initiatives team, Presales, DDM, industry teams, CoE. Higher labour costs in Australia probably a big factor. Seems to be a very large cut
South East Asia - almost entire Analytics and Insights Sales team gone after merger with HANA Sales team. You wonder what’s the criteria for those who are gone vs those who are still around.
This is crazy. I joined SAP in SG two months ago, after they spent nearly a year persuading me to come on board, which involved moving my family. Now my role is gone and they couldn't care less.
Very poorly handled in Singapore office. Long term, very good employees in tears, while you can hear senior managers in meeting room laughing and joking.
Not surprised that many prefer not to take early retirement. Money disappears quickly even if you get a big handshake package.

There is no upper limit for payouts.
There are employees who have 30 years of service receive 120 weeks of pay . This is for
early retirement.
Apparently in the U.S many are not taking the early retirement offer.
This means they have to cut deep to meet the 4400 number.
During the last layoff the package was 2 weeks for every year of service (for non retirees).
Not sure if this would be the same or reduced to 1 week for every year or service or increased to 3 weeks per year of service.
one month payout for each year worked only applies to Asia
Some unfortunate souls are told to look for “alternative roles”. Their roles continue to exist but someone else will be take over the roles. We all know it is near to impossible to find “alternative roles” at this time.

Can anyone confirm what is the payout this round? Last time it was one month payout for each year worked, and bonus will be pro-rated.
