I hate this school...shady on shady!
Don't forget security, that was the first to go!
We got this earlier
Dear Students:
I know you have all been very patient waiting for information about the resolution of your financial aid disbursements. Unfortunately, we still have not received information regarding those payments. We will let you know as soon as we do have information.
Late this morning I was informed that several key members of our staff and administration were being let go as of today, by order of the receiver. These individuals were valued friends and colleagues, and also performed vital functions at the heart of the law school mission. I want to emphasize that this decision was made without any input from the law school leadership, and without any advance notice to us as well.
Since receiving this news, I have been taking every step possible to try to get these decisions reversed in light of the impact they have on the law school. But I wanted to let you know what was happening.
Let me emphasize that the law school continues to operate, classes continue to be in session. Many students have asked what they can do to help; the answer is to do your best to advance your learning in the classes in which you are enrolled. I know you wish there was more that can be done to return to our normal functioning. Please know that your deans are all doing their best to try to make that happen.
We will provide you with more information as soon as we know anything. In the meantime, please also understand that some offices may be closed.
How do we find out this information? What does this mean?
Holy sh--.
