Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Horrible treatment from the management

Am I the only one who is in a situation that his manager is dumping extra work on you, while he treats you like garbidge? I and a couple of other guys work our asses off, but that seems not to be enough, as we are told of or written up for every small detail that doesn’t go according to what the manager thought up o his head. All that is done so a few managers favorites can sit around all they doing nothing. Not sure if I can or should do anything about this?

Take notes each day you work , when where and who - call the Open Door each day if you have the need to, The company has 0 tolerance for this and it is not the company's expectation to treat the associates this way, Associates need to band together and keep calling. We had to do this in our store and things got better -

Same thing happen to me I had a co manager threatened me and fought I call ethics and talk to the region and market about it they don’t listen and nothing happen to them

My store manager is the same way. Often leaves me confused on how we are supposed to be successful. I’m looking elsewhere for a job as I believe they will be down sizing management in the near future anyways.

My last year dancing with that devil had me going through the same things---and worse. It's the most un nerving, frustrating thing that leaves you feeling completely powerless. Which I truly was. I was set up to fail and knocked out of my job.

Sure, you can try to fight it----and maybe things have changed, what with wm being under tighter public scrutiny now. But you'd be far better off just finding a new job and making a clean break.

Staying there isn't worth your sanity and self respect.
