Layoff Wednesday Feb 6 2019

First Wednesday of the year month couple in IT group got the HR call . What a poorly run organization --- and group in Connecticut still standing!

The best part of these layoffs is no one knows who or what group is next. They get to watch you all squirm and grovel.

I'll bet they are hoping attrition saves them on having to pay severance. Many will find other jobs and the company won't have to pay out the severances.

Brilliant idea on STT's part to announce the upcoming year-long layoffs...

Funny. All the layoffs I've heard in the past 3 months are white women. Plenty of white men in SVP or EVP roles....so much for diversity.

My friend, an MD, got laid off yesterday, 2/6. Location: JAB, last day 3/29/19. So sad.

I knew many people I will call the boss's pet's who should have been let go due to their lack of being valuable productive workers.

But since they were liked by the boss they were given special treatment at work.

But when their boss protector was let go 2 years ago they no longer have favortism in the dept

The poster that said nobody in Mass was notified today is full of c-ap. I know of two people in Boston that were notified today and one of them was a complete piece of garbage that should have been fired years ago. Anyone that found out today probably went to the bar after work to celebrate. It seems like now that Ron has taken over some of the people that have had it coming to them for a long time are finally getting what they deserve.

Sorry Human Resource also know as the collaboraters work for State Street not the workers.

They know what the company wants them to know.
