Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

Contract

Why is it that if one goes on the IBEW website and one can look up Verizon, AT&T and Comcast contracts but one cannot look up an ATS or an Altice contract?Very fishy.

Believe it or not there is worse than this contract... It's called no contract. Flipping do you think you work for a major sports team or a municipality? It's about trying to earn a living and get to retirement in one piece.

@XuJeCqN-3pir What section is that? All i'm seeing is Article X sayin they cant hire contractors for the purpose of laying off us in-house guys.

As you have no clue about the language behind the contract I could see you misinterpreting that. All I can is that Oakland has a lot of job security. For instance. Contractors must be laid off before in house techs are laid off. Not sure what magic you thought might be in the contract but freezing what we have in place and not taking more loses would work me.
