Thread regarding Sysco Corp. layoffs

More layoffs and downsizing

Sysco will continue with layoffs and downsizing and substitute with automation. With a trimmed payroll, they can focus on mergers and acquisitions that further expose themselves to the growing labor crisis. Soon enough this mega Corp will collapse onto itself under the weight of it’s own ambition.

I used to work at Sysco for 4 years. Laid off is normal thing for them, especially it will start in the beginning of the first year of their 3 years financial plan. They will laid off, and then hiring and then laid off again, It is a cycle. Before working for Sysco, I thought that company is pretty stable since it is not oil and and gas company but I was wrong. They laid off whole bunch people and then whoever stay in company would get double of work flow and the upper management don't even care, as long the million dollar bonus go to their own pocket!

I worked in sales for Sysco.. had a total sh** territory and couldn't make any money. The drivers were making more than I was. I'm young and in good shape.. I asked if they'd pay for my CDL... they wouldn't do it, yet they complain about a driver shortage. Crocodile tears. I have no sympathy for companies that won't train people to do the positions they need filled. Boo hoo, Sysco.
