Reputation has been a problem for DST for many years, just that much more worse now. End effect is, they have to pony up the cash to hire anyone. Money talks, fools walk as they say.
ProbBly not anytime soon. I’m betting they are planning on people leaving after the bonuses are paid in early April. Why RIF when head count Leaves on its own?
Plus, word on the street is they simply are unable to hire anyone at the moment. The last RIF was such a m---acre, that the areas that are actually hiring, can’t get the time of day because the DST/SS&C reputation is simply awful.
Not happening.
I did hear this week or next week but not sure on numbers or where exactly if across the board or what...sounds like trying to slip people in under the old sev plan...be good.... watch your back......

Any truths to the vday m---acre claim or just another hogwash farse?
I hear it will be Valentine’s Day. Another Saint Valentine’s Day M---acre.
Well if its any comfort... after your manager/boss taps you on the shoulder and lays you off with the new sh--ty severance amounts, he/she will get their tap on the shoulder and get laid off the following week. The trend/ritual is, if you lay someone off, you eventually get laid off as well. Especially if you've been at DST over 10 years.
Rinse, repeat.
The economic collapse is coming.
Soon, a job will be the least of your problems.
well, I think by April they will lay off a bunch more.
