The results are good. Stock is up. Crickets on this board. The bears / pigs are getting slaughtered.
Wait for the FTC ruling. Once QUALCOMM comes on top the board will disintegrate.
QCOM for the win. !!

The same legal team that was sanctioned in the Broadcom litigation for hiding tens of thousands of emails from the court. Previous GC fell oh his sword for that one
@jiq is right. Despite the rulings and fines around the world, the business model was kept intact. The percentage per phone was just decreased. From what I understand, in China it was 3.25% after the ruling. People here keep saying that Qcom will lose the FTC case judging by all the fines worldwide, but what about the fact the countries agreed the business model was still valid? The fines could be just legal 'grease' payments.
ha ha ha OP. Crickets! Isn’t that the truth.
Nonsense !! We kept our licensing model intact. $1 billion is a small price to lay to keep the licensing model intact. If we do that here in US the market will price the share accordingly.
All the other rulings didn’t change our model. Only how much we make per phone. With the price of phone going up we are positioned to grow !!
Buy low, sell high.
QUALCOMM has one of the best legal team for any company. Repeat !! They will prevail.
I love the comment “our legal team is the best’. Let’s see China, Taiwan, Korea, RIM (laughable). You pay DR millions to lose billions with the excuse being the biz model is indefensible.
GD is underpaid at just $9,000,000.
Does SM provide kickbacks from his loot to other execs or the external lawyers to prolong the chaos and lawsuits??? Or does he just pay them off from the stockholders funds.
He sure likes hanging out on the 'settlement soon will bring $25/share value'. Follow the $$$ back to the execs bank accounts. Easy picking those QCOMies shareholders and naive H1B slaves. WORK HARDER 24/7 ! ALWAYS all WEEKENEDSSSSSS WEEAAAKNESS IS BNAHSED fomr the towers fury !!!
Promises. So easy for a hypocritic.
"I read somewhere that loss of revenue from a negative FTC ruling is baked into the share price right now."
A matter of opinion that a random anon person says they read 'somewhere' that something was so. Well Genius !! Amazing.
I tell you whats not baked into the share price collapse just yet
full impact of Kohs ruling of QTL slapdowns; read the blogs and court reports
Apple so-called 'settlement'; due in court in April, follow the sources
the stayed $5billion class action, stayed per Koh, re-igniting in the late summer, again, court transcripts and FACT. The biggest class action in history is 'stayed'; 'stayed' meaning, pending actions its GOING AHEAD. 250 million complainants.
You guys think the near death disaster of FTC vs Q is 'baked into the price'. Ha ha ha. Rounds 2,3 and 4 coming soon.
Aberle quit; why ? He saw the writing on the wall and preferred to walk away with his billions.
Yup. It’s priced in. The last time Nokia settlement or Broadcom settlement was announced stock jumped 20% or more.
Our legal team is one of the best and will ensure we come out on top.
All the naysayers will be proven wrong.
The NASDAQ was up 2.2% and Qualcomm was up 1.56%.
The market is starting to figure this out.
The accountants will have trouble making future quarters look good (its easy to do with any one quarter). I am sure with the annual shareholders meeting they pulled some revenue from next quarter, hoping that GD and SM can keep their jobs another year....and another $20M for SM!
The $82 offer from Hock Tan looks pretty high now...
I read somewhere that loss of revenue from a negative FTC ruling is baked into the share price right now. I can't find the article. Think about it. Do you investors are going to wait to sell until the FTC rules? Or hedge themselves before any negative ruling? Something similar happened when the China fine was announced. The stock price actually went up after the ruling. Before the ruling the stock price was low because investors were unsure about the ruling from China.
Yes! Lord Jehovah Jirah will protect Qualcomm and all of its Godly people.
Thank You Jesus for dying for our sins at Qualcomm so we can be saved.
