I’m not surprised at all that the leadership thinks they can solve every problem of the company by trying to reduce the headcount, given that that’s just the continuation of their behavior to blame the workers for their lack of leadership and their inability to steer the company in the right direction. Where did the need for reducing the workforce originate? Certainly not from overworked employees that put all of their efforts into getting things done. The lack of their organizational skills and them choosing to be far apart with the people on the front lines caused this and now the ordinary, hard-working employee is paying the price. It makes me sick.

Look at where Cerner has come from-born as a company that was lead by a genius and his buddies. It’s time for this company to graduate to the next level. None of us know if our jobs are safe, but that doesn’t change the fact that Cerner is taking steps be a more logical, focused and professional company. If associates at entry level leave for the greener grass, they will realize that Cerner is actually a great place to work.
