SEB was himself layed off and therefore lost his data stream. You try to figure out who it was!
It looks like they must have figured out who SEB was and took him out. I'm guessing the company must have used some Russian operatives to figure out who the leaker was and sent him down the road. Keep your eyes open for Boris and Natasha.
