So there are rumors that there are changes to the attendance policy is this true if so what are they changing it to???

I was out 4 days so I didn't receive any My share bonus .I would only have had 2 but they wouldn't approve 2 days I was in the hospital. HR told me oh well you should have taken 3 or more. We have one woman in HR and she runs the store,she even runs the store manager when he shows up.I had a dr.note and she wouldn't even look at it.I think they're very crooked.So now I have missed 2 my share bonuses that I depended on for Christmas.

The changes are when you miss work on a weekend (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) or a holiday instead of 1 point you will receive 2 and if you leave early or come late it will be 1 point on those days instead of 1/2. 9 will remain the limit before you are terminated

The policy is changing, that’s hardly a secret at this point, but not seen anything about it being tied to MyShare. Sounds false to me.

"Great attendance"? No they're only paying more for PERFECT attendance and only a piddly 25% more. Meanwhile anyone who misses even a half a day LOSES 50%, miss a few days and lose 100%. Yea that's called taking from the employees (again) to pad profits.

I only agree with the attendance drop to 5.. . People abuse the old policy ....but I think the part on days missed vereses share is unfair. Little more lead way needed there.

Some are reacting to this rumor from the angle that WM is paying less based on poor attendance as padding profit but leaving out they are paying above 100% for great attendance.

Seems logical that better attendance leads to a better results at work thus more profit which they are then sharing..and vice versa the other way...

This is all conjecture at this time as there is nothing backing this rumor at all so far.

Read the post a couple back. Only getting 50% or less of "myshare" means Walmart is paying employees less which = padding profits at the expense of "associates"... Its similar to when they stole $millions in sick time from "associates" a few years ago. Most greedy unethical company around!
